Remy, although sometimes it comes out as Robby but it is obvious she is talking about her doggy.
It is so amazing to hear her say new words!

Dear Brielle,
Once again I am WAY behind on this blog. You keep momma so busy, but I am having so much fun spending my days with you. You are changing everyday into a lovely little person.
- You walk/run everywhere. You do not like to be held in one place for very long and you want to see everything.
- You do not like the word NO. You are entering tantrum age and it is comical when you are told no and you feel the need to melt down. Right now we ignore it and eventually you realize the world is not ending.
- Your favorite thing to say is Where Daddy Go. We are not sure if that is what you are intending to say but that is what is sounds like.
- Momma has left your vocabulary for now
- You also say Baby, Daddy, Dadda, WaWa.
- You are doing much better at sleeping on your own. You can go into your crib awake and be shushed to sleep. We have not been able to just put you down and walk away though. Hopefully that is coming.
- You have so much personality. You use any object as a phone and you will walk all over talking into it with your hand on your hip jus tike momma.
We are constantly surprised by you! You are such a wonderful daughter and it is so fun to see all of your changes!

Sweet Brielle,
You have turned into quite the busy little lady! Momma is so busy with you that she barely has time to update this blog! In the last two months you have truly transformed from baby to toddler.
- You have quite the little personality. You can be easy going and full of smiles, but you also have quite a temper when things are not going your way. You have started temper tantrums that involve banging your head against the floor. We have been assured that it is normal, but it is still a sad thing to see.
- You LOVE your cousins! You really enjoy having them around and playing next to/with them. You and Juliette seem to have a love/hate relationship going. 95% of the time you are sweet to each other, but the other 5% can be rough. Jameson just loves you! It is so cute when he says your name it comes out Bri-elle, or sometimes Bri-smell. Lets hope that nickname does not stick.
- You are off the bottle now, only sippy cups for you. Although you really love that bottle, we want to wean you before the prescribed 18 month deadline.
- You feed yourself with a fork and spoon and are pretty good at it. Eggs are tricky for you but you like to stab away at them.
- YOU ARE WALKING!! This is a fairly recent development and you are still a little shaky on your feet but you can get your self into standing position from the floor without any assistance and walk across the room. You are terribly proud when you make it.
- You still only say about 4 words, momma, dadda, uh-uh and wa-wa (water). You babble constantly though, and it seems like you are always having some sort of conversation.
My sweet girl, you are growing so fast! I love to see the changes in you but sometimes I miss my little baby. We bought our first home last month and we cannot wait to see you grow up here (at least for a few years). You are such a remarkable person and I feel so lucky to be your mom! Love you little miss.

I am so late in getting this post up! It has been a busy month and I am going to get everything caught up this week. Here are some pictures from Brielle’s 1st birthday party. It was a great day filled with family and fun. I will admit everyone was a bit tired because we had all been at a wedding the night before, but it was still great.
I made the birthday banner and my mom made the cakes and Brielle’s tutu!
We had a photographer there to capture the party, so we also got a few family shots as well.

Brielles’s 1st birthday came and went and I forgot to post her 1 year post!
Dear Brielle,
You are ALMOST 13 months old! You are an amazing little girl and you have made the last year of our lives the most amazing ever.
- You are so busy, you are not yet walking but you hold onto anything and walk all over the room.
- You love, love, love your cousins! When I take you over to Auntie and Uncles house you are so excited before we even knock on the door.
- You talk constantly, lots of cute noises and lots of momma and dadda.
- You have the most wonderful laugh. It is loud and squealy and we love to hear it!
- You are sleeping through the night in your own bed. FINALLY!!!
- You are still a terrible napper You only like to be held. The second we lay you in the crib you wake up.
- You still like to be swaddled! Momma is still having to make larger swaddling blankets.
- You love Remy but you are a little rough with her, so we are trying teach you gentle
- We always get compliments on how beautiful you are and how pretty your eyes are. It makes momma so happy when people say you have momma’s eyes.
Sweet little Brielle, you are the most amazing little person and we are so proud to be your momma and daddy! We can’t wait to see what the next year brings to our little family!

Happy birthday papa March 13, 2011
Today would have been my grandpa’s 92nd birthday. He died in 2005 after suffering from Alzheimer’s. I miss him a ton, even more now that I have a baby. I wish he could have met Brie, and all the other new babies in our family; natalie, Jameson, juliette, and abagail.
If I ever have a son his middle name will be Calvin after the wonderful man that was my papa.

Dear Brielle,
You are 11 months old today and I cannot believe how fast time has gone by! It has been the best, craziest, most stressful year and I would not change it for anything! Everyday you do something new and it is so fun to see the little person you are becoming!
- Gramma Raven discovered that you have ticklish palms just like your Great Gramma Elizabeth.
- You are pulling yourself up all the time and you prefer to be walking (assisted) rather can crawling.
- You are back to saying momma a lot more than anything else! I love it of course!
- You and Juliette are starting to play together more and you love getting hugs from your cousins
- Sleeping is still touch and go. You only take good naps when you are being held and you sleep through the night off and on. You like it best when you get to sleep with momma and daddy in the big bed. On a side note you would think a king size bed would be big enough for 2 adults and a little baby, but you move around so much in your sleep daddy and I both end up on the edges.
I have been busy planning your birthday party and it is going to be amazing!! I love you so much and I cannot wait to see what the next month brings.

March 5-Miss Juliette’s 1st Birthday Party
March 7-Endocrinologist Apt-Morning blood sugars are creeping up and I want to find out if I need insulin or what is going on.
March 7-9- Dog sitting for a friend. The dog is super sweet, so it should be fun!
March 10-Heading to Seattle at 5AM to go to the wholesale flower market. I am going to put together the flowers for the wedding and we want to scope out what is available.
March 15-Dentist Apt’s
March 18-Amanda’s Bachlorette Party
March 29-Spa Day with Amanda before the wedding
March 30-Eva & Fam arrive, Shelly & Chance arrive
March 31-Flowers, nail apts, check into mukilteo rental house, prepare for rehearsal dinner party

April 11-Some sort of low key birthday thing with just Dan, Brielle and I probably. I am thinking we may take her up to the Tulip Festival. Since we are doing her big party the weekend before I think we will probably want a quiet weekend for her real birthday:)
Maybe it is not to much stuff, although mixed into all of the scheduled things we have to:
- Make it to the gym
- Finish all wedding tasks
- Plan Brielle’s Party
- Prepare for house guests
- Continue working on my business venture
Like I said, I am not complaining! I love the wedding and helping as much as I am! It is tons of fun and I am so happy Amanda has wanted my input and help! I can’t wait for the wedding and with all of the things going on this month I think it will be here before we know it!

You are growing like crazy! Your little personality is definitely developing! We love watching you change every day!

- You think it is hilarious when we tell you no! This makes mama nervous:)
- Your beautiful blue eyes are getting the tiniest bit of yellow around the pupil, just like mama’s.
- You love your cousins, Jameson especially makes you laugh.
- Grammy Raven found a picture of mama when she was your age and we had the same hair pattern.

Busy January/February February 4, 2011
Hey Everyone,
I cannot believe how fast time is flying by! We have been so busy I keep forgetting about our blog.
So far this year we have had a couple medical issues, some travel and lots of wedding preparation.
Week before last Dan had to go to Chicago for work and the night he left Brielle was up all night crying and rubbing her eyes. In the morning her eyes were sealed shut with gunk and my mom took one look and said looks like pink eye. So I took her to the pediatrician and she took one look and said yep, pinkeye. So, I had to giver her eye drops 3 times a day and nurse her through her first really bad cold. She had been doing really well sleeping in her own bed, but she was so congested I just let her snuggle with me. It is funny how one 9 month old a 20 lb dog and 1 adult cannot share a king size bed. Most nights I woke up with my leg on the floor keeping myself in bed! Luckily my mom is still in town so I had her to help throughout the whole week! I seriously do not know what I would do without her!
This week I started a bootcamp course on Tuesday and that resulted in another trip to the doctor. I felt great after the class, and later on that day we took Brielle on a walk with her cousins to the playground. It was maybe a 2 mile walk. When we got back my foot was hurting a little, and by the time I was in bed that night it was excruciating. The instep of my foot was super swollen and red so we went to the doctor the next day. Nothing was broken, but they said a couple of my bones looked out of place. So I have been wearing a boot, icing and keeping my foot elevated. It feels a lot better today, but not 100%.
The last big thing that has been keeping us busy is preparation for my brothers wedding. I am the Maid of Honor and I have been helping Amanda with invitations, centerpieces, ect. I LOVE LOVE LOVE working on all of it. I am in the midst of planning her shower and bachlorette. The wedding is April 2 and we are throwing Brielle’s 1st birthday on the afternoon of the 3rd. All of our Alaska family will be n town, and it is important to me to have as much family there as possible. So it will be a busy weekend, but lots of fun.
So, that is our year so far. Oh, I mentioned awhile ago one of my resolutions was to lose weight. Well, I lost 10 lbs in January! Yea!!!
