So, all of you moms who have gone through the process of stocking a nursery, WHAT DO I NEED?
My baby shower is being held in May, after the baby arrives so we are getting all of the stuff we will need right away. I do not want to go overboard though. SO, I am looking for advice, what is essential and what is not.
Here are a few things to know:
1. I am going to attempt breastfeeding but my feelings will not be hurt if she is not on board, so we may want to have formula feeding supplies on hand.
2. THis is what we have so far
- Crib
- Glider Rocker
- 5 onsie outfits in NB
- 6 outfits in the 3-6 month range
- 8 outfits in the 6-12 month range
- bouncy seat (for later)
- All bedding except sheets
- Diaper bag (from Coach! It is Gorgeous!)
3. This is what is next on our list to buy
- Car seat/stroller travel system
- dresser/changing table (although I am not convinced we will get something with a changeing table option. Everyone I know who has had one says they stop using them quickly. Thoughts?)
- Pack and Play-We travel to Oregon a lot and I think it would be handy to have.
- Swing
I am seeing all of these lists on the internet that say you need like 10-12 crib sheets and it is freaking me out! Do babies go through sheets that fast????
Anyway, any and all advice would help me out a TON!!!
